<span style="font-size: large;">Today my son Andrew and I decided to make up a couple of freezer meals. We made Chicken Dressing Stuffed Shells! Very simple and yummy! This is what we did...</span><br />
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XTQRXExy_Q4/VkuqWuXct8I/AAAAAAAAZmA/KNiUv5k6xfA/s1600/SAM_4835.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XTQRXExy_Q4/VkuqWuXct8I/AAAAAAAAZmA/KNiUv5k6xfA/s400/SAM_4835.JPG" width="400" /></a><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">1- box Jumbo Shells</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">3- cooked and shredded chicken breasts</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">8 oz bag of Mozzarella Cheese</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">1/2 bag of Herb Seasoned Stuffing or a couple of boxes.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Cream of Chicken Soup</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Cream of Mushroom Soup </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-W43ZdrywNE4/VkuqdxKlCuI/AAAAAAAAZmI/6fvsXDkJJp8/s1600/SAM_4828.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-W43ZdrywNE4/VkuqdxKlCuI/AAAAAAAAZmI/6fvsXDkJJp8/s400/SAM_4828.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Fix the stuffing per box or bag directions. Mine said to add chopped onion and chopped celery. I added the onion but I didn't have the celery. We cooked and shredded 3 boneless chicken breasts, let them cool completely. Then added the bag of shredded cheese. Mix this well. You really just have to mix this up with your hands to get it mixed well.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TyX9BuHi2NQ/VkuqitBxXBI/AAAAAAAAZmQ/w6EbbaNtiRE/s1600/SAM_4830.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-TyX9BuHi2NQ/VkuqitBxXBI/AAAAAAAAZmQ/w6EbbaNtiRE/s400/SAM_4830.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Cook your shells until they are just pliable, drain, and let cool. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zMHkd98AXxE/VkuqrXFDYzI/AAAAAAAAZmY/V62PrkaryDA/s1600/SAM_4831.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zMHkd98AXxE/VkuqrXFDYzI/AAAAAAAAZmY/V62PrkaryDA/s400/SAM_4831.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Take your chicken mixture and stuff the shells full. Fill your pans but make sure that you spray your pans first so nothing sticks. At this point you can cover with foil and put in the freezer. We decided to go ahead and finish one up and bake it for supper tonight. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3CDsSU8Xxhk/VkuqtTZmp2I/AAAAAAAAZmg/3XhzLppNPvQ/s1600/SAM_4832.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3CDsSU8Xxhk/VkuqtTZmp2I/AAAAAAAAZmg/3XhzLppNPvQ/s400/SAM_4832.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">So to go ahead and bake one or when you thaw a pan out to bake just simply mix a can of cream of mushroom soup and cream of chicken soup and spoon over top of the stuffed shells. Bake covered at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Take out, uncover and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Put back in the oven long enough to melt the cheese and then lightly brown it. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AV9H3MVUTV8/VkurD4Qo43I/AAAAAAAAZmw/O7Xo9w3DJ48/s1600/SAM_4834.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-AV9H3MVUTV8/VkurD4Qo43I/AAAAAAAAZmw/O7Xo9w3DJ48/s400/SAM_4834.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Here is the finished dish...ready to eat! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-size: large;">I'm not even sure what these are called but they are so yummy! My mom always made them for us and she still does. They are one of my favorites. I made a batch tonight for Richard and the boys. So easy and simple. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wC73EV0wFN8/VkZ2kmTNKII/AAAAAAAAZk8/zRtKENpj5mg/s1600/SAM_4820.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wC73EV0wFN8/VkZ2kmTNKII/AAAAAAAAZk8/zRtKENpj5mg/s400/SAM_4820.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Only 3 ingredients! Ritz Crackers, Peanut Butter, and Almond Bark.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-InI9v3S-0TU/VkZ2yhhzVjI/AAAAAAAAZlM/cFSDiarc1tM/s1600/SAM_4813.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="228" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-InI9v3S-0TU/VkZ2yhhzVjI/AAAAAAAAZlM/cFSDiarc1tM/s400/SAM_4813.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I ended up using 3 of the sleeves of crackers and one whole package of almond bark, that made about 45 of them. Just make up a bunch of peanut butter and crackers while your almond bark is melting.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B6uqTETXr4I/VkZ2uHzzmfI/AAAAAAAAZlE/W2LTwyZrSFE/s1600/SAM_4815.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-B6uqTETXr4I/VkZ2uHzzmfI/AAAAAAAAZlE/W2LTwyZrSFE/s400/SAM_4815.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">We like a lot of peanut butter in ours.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kl9m9__SXQA/VkZ21yx8yAI/AAAAAAAAZlU/i2nqLet8kac/s1600/SAM_4816.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kl9m9__SXQA/VkZ21yx8yAI/AAAAAAAAZlU/i2nqLet8kac/s400/SAM_4816.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Once your Almond Bark is melted, dip the peanut butter and crackers in the chocolate and put them on parchment paper or wax paper to dry. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5kc-2b1xTz0/VkZ27XM2OYI/AAAAAAAAZlc/TGEfEKO-TOo/s1600/SAM_4818.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5kc-2b1xTz0/VkZ27XM2OYI/AAAAAAAAZlc/TGEfEKO-TOo/s400/SAM_4818.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">A very quick and easy little treat!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JcE0yZ83hnw/VkZ3B7B5SwI/AAAAAAAAZlk/2gjbfLy9GMM/s1600/SAM_4820.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JcE0yZ83hnw/VkZ3B7B5SwI/AAAAAAAAZlk/2gjbfLy9GMM/s400/SAM_4820.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">We all love them so they will not last long!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3CepjgAxpJ8/VkZ3aQgoTEI/AAAAAAAAZls/IqM__C9SJyY/s1600/SAM_4821.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3CepjgAxpJ8/VkZ3aQgoTEI/AAAAAAAAZls/IqM__C9SJyY/s400/SAM_4821.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Lots of yummy chocolate goodness!</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">I was gifted a box of BANANAS! So not to let them go to waste, I started baking....and baking....and baking. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fgt3OF9msfw/Vj-4uZsCvJI/AAAAAAAAZkg/8Y3nqevwP-Q/s1600/SAM_4810.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fgt3OF9msfw/Vj-4uZsCvJI/AAAAAAAAZkg/8Y3nqevwP-Q/s400/SAM_4810.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Here is the box of bananas that I started with. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QW8G8vt-2n8/Vj-4oomWL8I/AAAAAAAAZkY/SBO_dt05QfM/s1600/SAM_4799.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QW8G8vt-2n8/Vj-4oomWL8I/AAAAAAAAZkY/SBO_dt05QfM/s400/SAM_4799.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I started with the best of the bananas and loaded the dehydrator. In the photo you can see the banana chips in the jar. That jar was one dehydrator full. I have the second batch in the dehydrator now and I will have one more batch after that. If you have never tried dehydrated bananas, they are sooooo good. A yummy little snack. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xCKROwk2vDI/Vj-48lo5bJI/AAAAAAAAZkw/qzMX4SqoIRM/s1600/SAM_4803.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-xCKROwk2vDI/Vj-48lo5bJI/AAAAAAAAZkw/qzMX4SqoIRM/s400/SAM_4803.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This is where I have stopped for the day. 4 loaves of banana bread, 4 loaves of chocolate cinnamon banana bread, 4 loaves of strawberry banana bread, 2 mini loaves of strawberry banana bread, 5 mini loaves of banana bread, and 1 chocolate cinnamon banana bread (that Hunter started eating) and a jar of banana chips and more in the dehydrator!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-f1Rz686AqgM/Vj-4z-443-I/AAAAAAAAZko/pcyubQf8oQk/s1600/SAM_4810.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-f1Rz686AqgM/Vj-4z-443-I/AAAAAAAAZko/pcyubQf8oQk/s640/SAM_4810.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">All of the loaves will be wrapped and put in the freezer and will last for months. I may also give some as gifts. All of these are so tasty with some powdered sugar icing drizzled over the top.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Let me tell you how simple the Strawberry Banana Bread is. You take a simple STRAWBERRY CAKE MIX, mix it as the directions state then add a cup or so of mashed bananas (I think I added about 4 mashed bananas) and bake as the cake directions. I just baked mine in loaf pans. When you get ready to serve you can drizzle with some icing. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-size: large;">I went grocery shopping early on Saturday morning as soon as we got home, I started on my freezer meals. Here is a photo of 21 finished meals that went into the freezer!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Tk9L92klqRQ/VjUQNR4OBlI/AAAAAAAAZiM/pHLVj_Hep18/s1600/SAM_4759.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="216" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Tk9L92klqRQ/VjUQNR4OBlI/AAAAAAAAZiM/pHLVj_Hep18/s400/SAM_4759.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I mixed up a couple of pounds of meatloaf mixture...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8QsfTZMpDvQ/VjUQXCUTexI/AAAAAAAAZiU/XsIzkOMYkCw/s1600/SAM_4749.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8QsfTZMpDvQ/VjUQXCUTexI/AAAAAAAAZiU/XsIzkOMYkCw/s400/SAM_4749.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I ended up putting them in the mini loaf pans. Sometimes we only need a tiny meatloaf and if I need more then I will bake a couple of them. You can either bake them ahead of time or just freeze them raw. I do it both ways but these are frozen raw. I ended up with 6 of these.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-etPHc9yufIU/VjUQgSLz9cI/AAAAAAAAZic/VW9-6gwfgZw/s1600/SAM_4751.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-etPHc9yufIU/VjUQgSLz9cI/AAAAAAAAZic/VW9-6gwfgZw/s400/SAM_4751.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I covered them with some sauce and covered them with foil and into the freezer they went. Just thaw and bake!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uvNEztatvS4/VjUQipNqt8I/AAAAAAAAZik/CYNlmcCsI-U/s1600/SAM_4752.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uvNEztatvS4/VjUQipNqt8I/AAAAAAAAZik/CYNlmcCsI-U/s400/SAM_4752.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I made 7 more Tater Tot Casseroles...this is before I added the cheese.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-f9zhdD1eUMY/VjUQ0_-STUI/AAAAAAAAZis/ef9iOb7xd_c/s1600/SAM_4753.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-f9zhdD1eUMY/VjUQ0_-STUI/AAAAAAAAZis/ef9iOb7xd_c/s400/SAM_4753.JPG" width="327" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I added a good thick layer of cheese, covered with foil and into the freezer they went!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZqnTpvnpHDY/VjUQ_dLt1BI/AAAAAAAAZi0/WwAZk0DrFUs/s1600/SAM_4754.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZqnTpvnpHDY/VjUQ_dLt1BI/AAAAAAAAZi0/WwAZk0DrFUs/s400/SAM_4754.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Also 5 more Baked Spaghetti's!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WF57H2kR2zk/VjURAuor9cI/AAAAAAAAZi8/N8Sk_4rHq18/s1600/SAM_4756.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WF57H2kR2zk/VjURAuor9cI/AAAAAAAAZi8/N8Sk_4rHq18/s400/SAM_4756.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Also I forgot to take a photo of them but you can see them in the complete photo here....Ranch House Crock Pot Pork Chops. They will just go in the freezer and then cooked in the Crock Pot. I ended up with 3 of those. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5QxHigOfXxg/VjURH8I1ZAI/AAAAAAAAZjE/3nB7UR0e5Ko/s1600/SAM_4759.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="216" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5QxHigOfXxg/VjURH8I1ZAI/AAAAAAAAZjE/3nB7UR0e5Ko/s400/SAM_4759.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I also had a package of boneless chicken breast that I split up into 4 packs of 2 chicken breasts each. Those will be used for various meals. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-m7VJ_o1qi4c/VjURQPzQ0LI/AAAAAAAAZjM/JNLnsmJ3q7k/s1600/SAM_4761.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-m7VJ_o1qi4c/VjURQPzQ0LI/AAAAAAAAZjM/JNLnsmJ3q7k/s400/SAM_4761.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">After a few hours of work everything was finished and in the freezer! Then I decided that we would have one of the baked spaghetti's with some garlic toast for supper. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0b11pbAtwzA/VjURTX0xM_I/AAAAAAAAZjU/LvksIeq6K5U/s1600/SAM_4764.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-0b11pbAtwzA/VjURTX0xM_I/AAAAAAAAZjU/LvksIeq6K5U/s400/SAM_4764.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Just some freezer meal ideas! This is so much easier for me not to mention it also saves money in the long run!</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Breakfast Bombs! These are one of Richard's favorite breakfast meals. I usually make several of these at a time and put them in the freezer as freezer meals. I always plan my meals ahead so when I plan on fixing one of these, I just take it out of the freezer the night before and put them in the fridge. These can also be microwaved but remove them from the aluminum pans first. So lets get started!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cyAmSlE4ZYQ/VjLxFGJyBiI/AAAAAAAAZfk/FT4fgDt0bp4/s1600/SAM_4742.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cyAmSlE4ZYQ/VjLxFGJyBiI/AAAAAAAAZfk/FT4fgDt0bp4/s400/SAM_4742.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I made 10 of these but could have easily stretched it to 12. These are so easy, just add what you like. This is what I used...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LcE6xnZQbg4/VjLxZu_v9yI/AAAAAAAAZfs/DYRIknadg6M/s1600/SAM_4717.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-LcE6xnZQbg4/VjLxZu_v9yI/AAAAAAAAZfs/DYRIknadg6M/s400/SAM_4717.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">18 eggs, scrambled</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">2 lbs sausage</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">10 hash browns</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">1 can mushrooms (2 cans shown, but I only used one)</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">cheddar cheese (this is actually Fiesta Blend and I bought a huge bag for other stuff too so not all of this was used on these). LOL!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">I used 10 of these mini loaf pans. 5/.88 cents. If you want to be really thrifty you could reuse these. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-z-LNJjMa0ik/VjLxgHebKGI/AAAAAAAAZf0/JOyWB2D_NHQ/s1600/SAM_4723.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-z-LNJjMa0ik/VjLxgHebKGI/AAAAAAAAZf0/JOyWB2D_NHQ/s400/SAM_4723.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Make sure to spray your pans so nothing sticks. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yFJJQ7enw4M/VjLxmluNKaI/AAAAAAAAZf8/nysj3wBY8gY/s1600/SAM_4731.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yFJJQ7enw4M/VjLxmluNKaI/AAAAAAAAZf8/nysj3wBY8gY/s400/SAM_4731.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I fried my hash browns. Richard likes them a little crispy. You could also bake these. I should have just used my griddle but I didn't want to dig it out. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PFLrZOX4oLY/VjLxs110B5I/AAAAAAAAZgE/fxgPBHdnLmI/s1600/SAM_4719.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PFLrZOX4oLY/VjLxs110B5I/AAAAAAAAZgE/fxgPBHdnLmI/s400/SAM_4719.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Dump the 2 pounds of sausage in a large skillet.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vXhcL7ZhZDg/VjLxz0Va2ZI/AAAAAAAAZgM/R7MyyypIavY/s1600/SAM_4720.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vXhcL7ZhZDg/VjLxz0Va2ZI/AAAAAAAAZgM/R7MyyypIavY/s400/SAM_4720.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Fry it and drain well...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FE-CjO6dF0U/VjLx6LRFlSI/AAAAAAAAZgU/ZOrzeHCj8no/s1600/SAM_4726.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FE-CjO6dF0U/VjLx6LRFlSI/AAAAAAAAZgU/ZOrzeHCj8no/s400/SAM_4726.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Dump all 18 eggs in a bowl. If you don't like a lot of eggs you can use less. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-E3pK7YgW0sU/VjLyBFVbonI/AAAAAAAAZgc/06R0TKbinfE/s1600/SAM_4727.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-E3pK7YgW0sU/VjLyBFVbonI/AAAAAAAAZgc/06R0TKbinfE/s400/SAM_4727.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I added a tiny bit of milk, salt and pepper. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1u8GrHAQ9Zg/VjLyGXyt13I/AAAAAAAAZgk/-Yg1dieykqU/s1600/SAM_4729.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1u8GrHAQ9Zg/VjLyGXyt13I/AAAAAAAAZgk/-Yg1dieykqU/s400/SAM_4729.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Eggs are all finished and in a bowl...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3YKU8R7zo5U/VjLyL4uqSSI/AAAAAAAAZgs/sFIay35yAZk/s1600/SAM_4733.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3YKU8R7zo5U/VjLyL4uqSSI/AAAAAAAAZgs/sFIay35yAZk/s400/SAM_4733.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Now to start assembling them...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BZB9gyDm0KQ/VjLyXauNDwI/AAAAAAAAZg8/WVwFd0PvuO4/s1600/SAM_4735.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BZB9gyDm0KQ/VjLyXauNDwI/AAAAAAAAZg8/WVwFd0PvuO4/s400/SAM_4735.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Start with the hash browns. Put them in the pans first. They are a perfect fit! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8iJE1EUC8_g/VjLydrB8jdI/AAAAAAAAZhE/Z_R8AnpTsvk/s1600/SAM_4736.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8iJE1EUC8_g/VjLydrB8jdI/AAAAAAAAZhE/Z_R8AnpTsvk/s400/SAM_4736.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Put a good layer of sausage on top of the hash browns. I just split up the 2 lbs of sausage in the 10 pans.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nVO7twpkRAg/VjLyjgdeScI/AAAAAAAAZhM/3DYL0dwbEoo/s1600/SAM_4737.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-nVO7twpkRAg/VjLyjgdeScI/AAAAAAAAZhM/3DYL0dwbEoo/s400/SAM_4737.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Evenly distribute the scrambled eggs on top of the sausage. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8OrBWDgbvxc/VjLyp048-kI/AAAAAAAAZhU/RW6KS_THJxw/s1600/SAM_4740.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-8OrBWDgbvxc/VjLyp048-kI/AAAAAAAAZhU/RW6KS_THJxw/s400/SAM_4740.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Add the mushrooms...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-18MNgtd1MPc/VjLyvA3gOvI/AAAAAAAAZhc/_-on_MaEThk/s1600/SAM_4741.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-18MNgtd1MPc/VjLyvA3gOvI/AAAAAAAAZhc/_-on_MaEThk/s400/SAM_4741.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Completely cover with cheese! When these are heated up, the cheese will melt and sorta drip down through on everything else. At this point, just cover with foil and put in the freezer! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RzaM2QKEJps/VjLy17df1rI/AAAAAAAAZhk/Qsqg0Lgz9Ag/s1600/SAM_4742.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RzaM2QKEJps/VjLy17df1rI/AAAAAAAAZhk/Qsqg0Lgz9Ag/s400/SAM_4742.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">To reheat all you do is...thaw them in the fridge the night before and heat in the oven at 350 for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Everything is cooked ahead of time so all you are doing is heating it up and melting the cheese. You can also remove these from the pans and microwave them. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Now we will break the cost down.... Now these babies are filled to the top so unless you are a hearty eater you could stretch these to 12 or more. I ended up with 10! The cost of food for 10 of these breakfast bombs was $19.44. So divide that out and it comes to $1.94 each! That's not a bad price at all for a good hearty breakfast! The last time that I made these I used less eggs and no mushrooms and the cost of those came to $1.64 each so you can see the price will vary a little depending on what you put in them. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Uy7-_vCJbcs/VjLy6nOgDJI/AAAAAAAAZhs/0BI4q4QpnNY/s1600/SAM_4743.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Uy7-_vCJbcs/VjLy6nOgDJI/AAAAAAAAZhs/0BI4q4QpnNY/s400/SAM_4743.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">When I fix these, I usually make Richard a couple pieces of toast to go with them. Having these already made and ready to heat up sure helps me out when I am fixing him breakfast at 4:30am before work. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>UPDATE... </b>This was this morning when I took it out of the oven. The cheese was melted and it smelled sooooo good. He usually just dumps it out of the little pan and into his plate. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">What's for supper? Richard asked for soup beans so I just popped open a jar and heated them up! So fast and easy when you can them.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9E_6UC_p0Dk/VimTM7y3gBI/AAAAAAAAZdU/kSABCDzamiM/s1600/SAM_4524.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9E_6UC_p0Dk/VimTM7y3gBI/AAAAAAAAZdU/kSABCDzamiM/s400/SAM_4524.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Richard likes soup beans, fried potatoes, and cornbread crumbled up in a big bowl with some diced onion mixed in. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YoeriLfC1bE/VimTZs2yMlI/AAAAAAAAZdk/UIfOtuMK3mE/s1600/SAM_4521.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-YoeriLfC1bE/VimTZs2yMlI/AAAAAAAAZdk/UIfOtuMK3mE/s400/SAM_4521.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This is such a quick mean for me to fix when I already have the pinto beans canned and the cornbread in the freezer. Basically all that I have to do is warm the stuff up and fry some potatoes.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kuyqT0rxOSo/VimTlezCfCI/AAAAAAAAZd0/RfIGlUh56ak/s1600/SAM_4520.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kuyqT0rxOSo/VimTlezCfCI/AAAAAAAAZd0/RfIGlUh56ak/s400/SAM_4520.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I usually just eat the beans and cornbread but he like fried potatoes so that's why I didn't fix a lot of them. He also likes them crispy so they are in the process for frying here. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KlIEEFxbdIM/VimTfTzumgI/AAAAAAAAZds/-kxDjZ1jIlU/s1600/SAM_4523.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-KlIEEFxbdIM/VimTfTzumgI/AAAAAAAAZds/-kxDjZ1jIlU/s400/SAM_4523.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">The beans get so thick in the jar that you have to "rake" them out with a spoon. I add a little water to thin them a little. I love having them in the pantry. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-V8c6PiSh6iA/VimTSQ5zniI/AAAAAAAAZdc/NHnB5ER9IQA/s1600/SAM_4522.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-V8c6PiSh6iA/VimTSQ5zniI/AAAAAAAAZdc/NHnB5ER9IQA/s400/SAM_4522.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">So that's what we had for dinner and I didn't have to work for hours preparing it. </span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Dehydrating...I love it almost as much as canning. LOL! It saves space, it's easy and so useful. I had a lot of tomatoes from the garden this past summer and after a while I got tired of canning them and not wanting to waste them I finished them up by dehydrating them. Let me tell you, they are so yummy this way.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">I started by slicing my tomatoes about 1/4" thick. You don't want them too thick but also not too thin. Tomatoes have tons of water in them so if they are too thin they pretty much just disappear in the dehydrator. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6k-tv3VfPu4/ViYa3YNuKWI/AAAAAAAAZZc/5jZNEQS0H5c/s1600/SAM_3965.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6k-tv3VfPu4/ViYa3YNuKWI/AAAAAAAAZZc/5jZNEQS0H5c/s400/SAM_3965.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Once completely dried you can grind them into powder. The green on is parsley but the other is my tomato powder. It takes a lot of tomatoes for grinding but tomato powder is great for thickening soups and stews or just to sprinkle for added flavor. I always try to keep it on hand. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rypG8Sb7YCQ/ViYbCp3sWCI/AAAAAAAAZZs/G8kfGqDAgHo/s1600/SAM_3981.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rypG8Sb7YCQ/ViYbCp3sWCI/AAAAAAAAZZs/G8kfGqDAgHo/s400/SAM_3981.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This is one of my jars of dehydrated tomato slices. Oh my how I love these! Shew... These are also great for soups, stews, chili, and hydrate fairly well. Of course, dehydrated things never go back exactly as they were before but close. I also love eating them straight from the jar or crumble over a salad. The taste is very powerful. I love them!!!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fLthG0n2wyY/ViYbJAIKzlI/AAAAAAAAZZ0/z_9sWcEo0Ms/s1600/SAM_4573.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fLthG0n2wyY/ViYbJAIKzlI/AAAAAAAAZZ0/z_9sWcEo0Ms/s400/SAM_4573.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">As you can see they are beautiful in color. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iHppO8sQoA4/ViYbPUesa-I/AAAAAAAAZZ8/UrdG4szwPjQ/s1600/SAM_4574.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-iHppO8sQoA4/ViYbPUesa-I/AAAAAAAAZZ8/UrdG4szwPjQ/s400/SAM_4574.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">They dehydrate really thin as these were sliced about 1/4" thick.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2FbXvtTcHuU/ViYbTvGdEFI/AAAAAAAAZaE/f_BVKbT7EAo/s1600/SAM_4576.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2FbXvtTcHuU/ViYbTvGdEFI/AAAAAAAAZaE/f_BVKbT7EAo/s400/SAM_4576.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">They store well in a wide mouth mason jar or a storage bag. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">I either store mine with oxygen absorbers or seal my jars with a jar sealer that removes all of the oxygen and keeps them crisp. I will post more about how I store my dehydrated items in a later post. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Well...I canned more Pinto Beans! I love having these on hand, they are so quick and easy.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GfXC8Bv0hp4/VibxU7EJS3I/AAAAAAAAZaw/fbqbgfCUiRA/s1600/SAM_4603.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GfXC8Bv0hp4/VibxU7EJS3I/AAAAAAAAZaw/fbqbgfCUiRA/s400/SAM_4603.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Here's my process....I have found that <b>4lbs</b> of dry Pinto Beans will end up being <b>7 quarts</b> once they are canned. I picked up an 8lb bag for <b>$7.42. </b>That will come out to be 14 quarts at a total cost of </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="font-size: x-large;">.53 cents per quart!!!!</span></b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="font-size: x-large;"> </span></b></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7hwZTThabPM/Vibxbvq4-9I/AAAAAAAAZa4/-CRzy2EJPRQ/s1600/SAM_4554.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7hwZTThabPM/Vibxbvq4-9I/AAAAAAAAZa4/-CRzy2EJPRQ/s400/SAM_4554.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Since my canner will only hold 7 quarts at a time, I only work with half of the bag at a time. I "look" the beans and rinse, rinse, and rinse some more. Then I put them in a big bowl to soak overnight or 4 to 5 hours. Either one is fine. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7bmZP3sCCzI/VibxhAVgK5I/AAAAAAAAZbA/_G6anPQmEQE/s1600/SAM_4556.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7bmZP3sCCzI/VibxhAVgK5I/AAAAAAAAZbA/_G6anPQmEQE/s400/SAM_4556.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">As you can see they really plump up after soaking overnight, but again 4-5 hours will be fine too. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F13kPLirIoA/Vibxxe7oV-I/AAAAAAAAZbQ/lXnotIaoyyY/s1600/SAM_4586.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-F13kPLirIoA/Vibxxe7oV-I/AAAAAAAAZbQ/lXnotIaoyyY/s400/SAM_4586.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Since I know that this will make 7 quarts, I start with 7 hot sterile jars.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HiAh-jxgf6A/VibxnBqJGmI/AAAAAAAAZbI/MCGZhikIYEE/s1600/SAM_4587.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HiAh-jxgf6A/VibxnBqJGmI/AAAAAAAAZbI/MCGZhikIYEE/s400/SAM_4587.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I distribute the beans in the jars and try to get close to the same amount in each. This doesn't have to be exact, but you don't want one completely full and another half full....you get the idea, right? </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fyxReQbGniI/Vibx4Ma6uEI/AAAAAAAAZbY/fEcI9-cMris/s1600/SAM_4588.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-fyxReQbGniI/Vibx4Ma6uEI/AAAAAAAAZbY/fEcI9-cMris/s400/SAM_4588.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">At this point they will look like this...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c8TmHPQ4Bb8/Vibx9OMsavI/AAAAAAAAZbg/QgLOT3QjID4/s1600/SAM_4589.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-c8TmHPQ4Bb8/Vibx9OMsavI/AAAAAAAAZbg/QgLOT3QjID4/s400/SAM_4589.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Now I usually put a strip of bacon in each jar. I don't guess that it really matters but I put it about halfway down in the jar. Not cooked, just a slice of raw bacon. It will cook in the canning process. I didn't have enough bacon this time so each jar ended up with about half of a piece. That's okay because I just add a small spoonful of bacon grease that I always keep on hand. I have done this many times and it works just as well.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mNhzKKOLRns/VibyDjT3dWI/AAAAAAAAZbo/wRdLBSFrTqo/s1600/SAM_4590.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mNhzKKOLRns/VibyDjT3dWI/AAAAAAAAZbo/wRdLBSFrTqo/s400/SAM_4590.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I add 1 tsp of salt per jar. This is optional, but this is how I do it. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-L-RynMghNt8/VibyJVtBr8I/AAAAAAAAZbw/gjKCr880wOk/s1600/SAM_4592.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-L-RynMghNt8/VibyJVtBr8I/AAAAAAAAZbw/gjKCr880wOk/s400/SAM_4592.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Now remember these beans are not cooked at this point but they will cook during the canning process. They have only been soaked. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Now it is time to add boiling water over the beans. Be careful!!! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DdlCQoZsSwM/VibyOz5P4CI/AAAAAAAAZb4/MLbfx_0u0qw/s1600/SAM_4594.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DdlCQoZsSwM/VibyOz5P4CI/AAAAAAAAZb4/MLbfx_0u0qw/s400/SAM_4594.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">You want to fill them up until you have 1" of head space from the top. Take something and poke down in the jars to get rid of the air bubbles. You might have to add a tiny bit more water after doing this. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gRawAACH2GI/VibyUT4XoNI/AAAAAAAAZcA/Hbs9ibu3eOM/s1600/SAM_4595.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-gRawAACH2GI/VibyUT4XoNI/AAAAAAAAZcA/Hbs9ibu3eOM/s400/SAM_4595.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This is what they will look like at this point...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yoyZ5LxoJ1M/VibyaKW9tNI/AAAAAAAAZcI/K2zKfVYB7ZQ/s1600/SAM_4596.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-yoyZ5LxoJ1M/VibyaKW9tNI/AAAAAAAAZcI/K2zKfVYB7ZQ/s400/SAM_4596.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">You will need a tiny bit of white vinegar to wipe around the rims to remove any grease or anything else so you will have a good clean rim for the lid to stick to. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U-T66rU1Ogc/VibygNNhgTI/AAAAAAAAZcQ/KX30_jnrxsg/s1600/SAM_4593.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U-T66rU1Ogc/VibygNNhgTI/AAAAAAAAZcQ/KX30_jnrxsg/s400/SAM_4593.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Simply dip a rag or napkin in the vinegar and wipe the rims.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cW_gI_Ygthw/Vibyl08qyGI/AAAAAAAAZcY/rMqPf4wWGU8/s1600/SAM_4598.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cW_gI_Ygthw/Vibyl08qyGI/AAAAAAAAZcY/rMqPf4wWGU8/s400/SAM_4598.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">You need to have your lids soaking in hot/warm water to soften up the seal. Some do this and some don't. I do because it has always worked well for me. Lay your lids on your jars and add your rings. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hHrWVD3eKEo/VibzF_0fhUI/AAAAAAAAZc8/ZSDNPj3eckU/s1600/SAM_4599.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hHrWVD3eKEo/VibzF_0fhUI/AAAAAAAAZc8/ZSDNPj3eckU/s400/SAM_4599.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">When adding your rings to your jars, make sure that the rings are ONLY FINGER TIGHT. Not too tight and not too loose. :)</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_e7zC8qrMAo/VibyyGYnVAI/AAAAAAAAZck/18Ecuq4VFyU/s1600/SAM_4600.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_e7zC8qrMAo/VibyyGYnVAI/AAAAAAAAZck/18Ecuq4VFyU/s400/SAM_4600.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">The jars are added to your awaiting pressure canner that has the hot water already waiting in it. Check your manual on your canner to see exactly how much water is needed. Mine says 3 quarts. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">These beans are then PRESSURE CANNED for 90 minutes at 10lbs of pressure for my area. Any dried bean or meat needs to be canned for 90 minutes for quarts. These have both so 90 minutes, it is! :)</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Once they have been in the canner for 90 minutes they are finished! After the pressure has returned to ZERO open the canner and carefully remove your jars. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YmiI2Kv037o/Viby4GRn4eI/AAAAAAAAZcs/_mFLjtpicg4/s1600/SAM_4601.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YmiI2Kv037o/Viby4GRn4eI/AAAAAAAAZcs/_mFLjtpicg4/s400/SAM_4601.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">As they are cooling on the counter you will hear the "pinging" of the lids sealing. Make sure that if one doesn't seal that you put it in the fridge and use it during the next few days. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hh5inRp-aY4/Viby-M1IM1I/AAAAAAAAZc0/3BfcxNTfO_k/s1600/SAM_4603.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hh5inRp-aY4/Viby-M1IM1I/AAAAAAAAZc0/3BfcxNTfO_k/s400/SAM_4603.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">You can see that they plump up and are fully cooked. After a day or two the juice will be so thick in the jars that you will have to rake them out of the jar with a spoon. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3rNSvy8MoLA/VibzLmUIsmI/AAAAAAAAZdE/sG2aCqh0p3w/s1600/SAM_4602.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3rNSvy8MoLA/VibzLmUIsmI/AAAAAAAAZdE/sG2aCqh0p3w/s400/SAM_4602.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">They are completely done and ready to store or to eat! All you have to do at this point is pop open a jar and heat them up on the stove or the microwave. If you like thinner soup, just add a tiny bit of water. My family likes good thick juice so I usually don't add anymore water. NO COOKING, just heat and serve!!!! </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">I always have cornbread in the freezer to be popped in the microwave. It takes "1 minute" in my microwave to thaw out a piece of cornbread. Heat up your beans and cornbread and you can have a good heart meal within 2-3 minutes without cooking all day!!!! </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">What's for supper? This is Richard's plate...<a href="http://kristiespantry.blogspot.com/2015/10/chicken-gravy-crock-pot-freezer-meal.html">Crock Pot Chicken & Gravy</a>, mashed potatoes and buttermilk cornbread from the freezer. He decided that he wanted the gravy on his mashed potatoes instead of over his chicken. The chicken was cook in the gravy all day in the crock pot. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-X8mfOyON_i4/ViWOHU6EtpI/AAAAAAAAZYs/iPEWvT4Yyt4/s1600/SAM_4564.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-X8mfOyON_i4/ViWOHU6EtpI/AAAAAAAAZYs/iPEWvT4Yyt4/s400/SAM_4564.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This chicken is the <a href="http://kristiespantry.blogspot.com/2015/10/chicken-gravy-crock-pot-freezer-meal.html">chicken & gravy</a> that I put in the freezer meals a few days ago. Myself, I like boneless, skinless chicken breast but Richard doesn't care and I bought these chicken leg quarters 10lbs for $3.90. <a href="http://kristiespantry.blogspot.com/2015/10/chicken-gravy-crock-pot-freezer-meal.html">Here is the link to the Chicken & Gravy Freezer Meals</a>.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jIm7o5iuFgs/ViWONV_ZU1I/AAAAAAAAZY0/7uUTvdRdEik/s1600/SAM_4534.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jIm7o5iuFgs/ViWONV_ZU1I/AAAAAAAAZY0/7uUTvdRdEik/s400/SAM_4534.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">A few weeks ago I picked up another big 8lb bag of Pinto Beans. I can these 4lbs at a time. 4lbs will make 7 quarts of canned soup beans. So this big bag will make 14 quarts!!! I paid $7.42 for 8lbs so that will come out to .54 cents a quart!!!! Of course, I will add some bacon so that will cost a little more. :) Gotta have bacon!!!!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Fa8DtV61p2U/ViWOTozfm0I/AAAAAAAAZY8/-lnm7VDLUkE/s1600/SAM_4554.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Fa8DtV61p2U/ViWOTozfm0I/AAAAAAAAZY8/-lnm7VDLUkE/s400/SAM_4554.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">So I split the bag and will work with 4lbs at a time since my canner only holds 7 quarts. I have "looked" and rinsed these well and will let them soak overnight and get started canning them tomorrow. :)</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-size: large;">More photos tomorrow of the process! </span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Also from my grocery haul the other day...<b>Cheesy Chicken Veggie Rice Bake! </b>YUM! I forgot to take photos of every step but you can get the general idea. :) </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7fiYtJ2_5Bo/ViJ9kVYmVFI/AAAAAAAAZYA/xg6xI9bF1uk/s1600/SAM_4548.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7fiYtJ2_5Bo/ViJ9kVYmVFI/AAAAAAAAZYA/xg6xI9bF1uk/s400/SAM_4548.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I started out with these ingredients. <b>Boneless Chicken Breast, Long Grain Brown Rice, Cream of Chicken Soup, Cream of Mushroom Soup, 3 bags of frozen Mixed Veggies, and Cheddar Cheese! </b></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mJS7Ua8a5yk/ViJ9p-Fio8I/AAAAAAAAZYI/q_inSl4M5Jw/s1600/SAM_4546.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mJS7Ua8a5yk/ViJ9p-Fio8I/AAAAAAAAZYI/q_inSl4M5Jw/s400/SAM_4546.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I mixed 1 can cream of chicken soup, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup of water, and 1 cup of brown rice (uncooked). Stir well.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-size: large;">Spread a bag of frozen mixed veggies in the bottom of 3-9x9 pans that have been sprayed with nonstick spray. Then divide the soup/rice mixture into 3 even amounts. Pour over frozen veggies. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7as7v_ggkpk/ViJ9yD8CNdI/AAAAAAAAZYQ/kQ1pgs00MCY/s1600/SAM_4548.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7as7v_ggkpk/ViJ9yD8CNdI/AAAAAAAAZYQ/kQ1pgs00MCY/s400/SAM_4548.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">After veggies are covered with soup mixture lay 2 or 3 boneless chicken breasts on top. That is all at this point. Cover with foil and put in the freezer. Add cheese later...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6shwQ2O5tLM/ViJ931MpEiI/AAAAAAAAZYY/670zoFhscqM/s1600/SAM_4549.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6shwQ2O5tLM/ViJ931MpEiI/AAAAAAAAZYY/670zoFhscqM/s400/SAM_4549.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">These can go straight from freezer to oven! Leave covered with foil bake at 350-375 until CHICKEN is completely done. Remove foil and sprinkle with CHEDDAR CHEESE and bake until melted. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">You can also just dump all of this in a freezer bag (except for the cheese) and bake in the crockpot. High 4-6 hours....Love 6-8 hours! Add cheese when done.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Early this morning I started making a few <b>Tater Tot Casseroles! </b>Yum-Yum! These are very simple to make ahead and freeze and also very versatile. You an add anything that you want and I usually add more than I did in these but I just used what I had. :)</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-E5cchR135kc/ViJ3Z9OxwZI/AAAAAAAAZWs/R5-ep6gstfo/s1600/SAM_4545.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-E5cchR135kc/ViJ3Z9OxwZI/AAAAAAAAZWs/R5-ep6gstfo/s400/SAM_4545.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I started with <b>2 lbs of lean ground beef and a chopped onion. </b>Fried those up and also added some garlic seasoning, salt, pepper, and some chili powder. If I have it on hand I will also add some green peppers or even a can of kidney beans. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CNXO29dsi_4/ViJ3fj3jxTI/AAAAAAAAZW0/cRK9MFgi3bk/s1600/SAM_4536.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CNXO29dsi_4/ViJ3fj3jxTI/AAAAAAAAZW0/cRK9MFgi3bk/s400/SAM_4536.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Here are the other ingredients that I add....<b>cream of mushroom soup, tater tots and cheddar cheese!!!</b></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wurFkFSD_bs/ViJ3lCUhHpI/AAAAAAAAZW8/4IpOV3vw874/s1600/SAM_4539.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-wurFkFSD_bs/ViJ3lCUhHpI/AAAAAAAAZW8/4IpOV3vw874/s400/SAM_4539.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">First I spray my pans with nonstick spray and drain my meat mixture really well. I divide out my meat mixture into my pans. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_XbVzmBGJq8/ViJ3vqnsKlI/AAAAAAAAZXE/tIp1maT35vI/s1600/SAM_4540.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_XbVzmBGJq8/ViJ3vqnsKlI/AAAAAAAAZXE/tIp1maT35vI/s400/SAM_4540.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Add a layer of cream of mushroom soup over the meat mixture...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aiaFi2EW0sw/ViJ3wRx2jXI/AAAAAAAAZXI/kyQ6OiU6sk0/s1600/SAM_4541.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aiaFi2EW0sw/ViJ3wRx2jXI/AAAAAAAAZXI/kyQ6OiU6sk0/s400/SAM_4541.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Add a layer of tater tots....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-G41tA1NvCOU/ViJ33V9TPLI/AAAAAAAAZXU/AjAcHtaYK2E/s1600/SAM_4542.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-G41tA1NvCOU/ViJ33V9TPLI/AAAAAAAAZXU/AjAcHtaYK2E/s400/SAM_4542.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Another layer of cream of mushroom soup...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-15UJrsN_IUU/ViJ38QWEZMI/AAAAAAAAZXc/2KJsQx39ZJ4/s1600/SAM_4543.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-15UJrsN_IUU/ViJ38QWEZMI/AAAAAAAAZXc/2KJsQx39ZJ4/s400/SAM_4543.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Top it with a good coating of cheddar cheese!!!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-co-THqKhNgo/ViJ4ByjMxFI/AAAAAAAAZXk/rW96QIJRbAc/s1600/SAM_4544.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-co-THqKhNgo/ViJ4ByjMxFI/AAAAAAAAZXk/rW96QIJRbAc/s400/SAM_4544.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">In total I ended up with 5 loaf pans...that's 5 meals!!!! That comes to a little over <b><span style="font-size: x-large;">$3 per meal!!!!!</span></b></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-s0vt8UyLGU4/ViJ4G2gb4DI/AAAAAAAAZXs/N18jrVKgdeY/s1600/SAM_4545.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-s0vt8UyLGU4/ViJ4G2gb4DI/AAAAAAAAZXs/N18jrVKgdeY/s400/SAM_4545.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I covered these with foil and wrote the baking directions on top. Since everything is precooked all I have to do it pop them in the oven to heat through. I usually bake them at 350 until the cheese is good and melted then I remove the foil and brown the cheese a little. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">This week is a tight week or well 2 weeks because we have some unexpected things coming up. So when that happens, I cut the grocery bill. :) Here is my grocery haul for Friday. Now other than maybe a gallon or two of milk we will be fine. I have lots of stuff canned and also some freezer meals. I plan on making more freezer meals out of this stuff too. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--W2FmHtQRko/ViHKoEYJJjI/AAAAAAAAZWU/-wOxwncOT_I/s1600/SAM_4528.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--W2FmHtQRko/ViHKoEYJJjI/AAAAAAAAZWU/-wOxwncOT_I/s400/SAM_4528.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I forgot to take photos during the process but I made 7 freezer meals today! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-A3JvmoVJgUY/ViHKiN7hS7I/AAAAAAAAZWM/HmEH4jQv_UI/s1600/SAM_4533.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-A3JvmoVJgUY/ViHKiN7hS7I/AAAAAAAAZWM/HmEH4jQv_UI/s400/SAM_4533.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>CHICKEN & GRAVY CROCK POT MEAL</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">I found <b>10 pounds </b>of Chicken Leg Quarters for <b>$3.90!!!!! </b>These leg quarters are HUGE so most of these packs only have one in it because Richard and I can split it and if Andrew is home I can just throw 2 in the crockpot. Hunter is picky and this is something that he will not eat. He doesn't like mixed foods. LOL! </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b> </b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">So I put at least one chicken leg quarter in a gallon freezer bag. Then I mixed <b>1 jar of chicken gravy, 2 cans of cream of chicken soup, and 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup. </b>Mix it well and divide it up in the bags of chicken. Then they are ready for the freezer. That simple!!!!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">You can either thaw it out the night before or just take it straight from the freezer and pop it in the crock pot. Cook on HIGH for 4-6 hours or LOW 6-8 hours. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Yummy Chicken and Gravy!!!! </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-P70UdgMlUVU/ViHKtkUxjrI/AAAAAAAAZWc/E-dCmpFVdn4/s1600/SAM_4534.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-P70UdgMlUVU/ViHKtkUxjrI/AAAAAAAAZWc/E-dCmpFVdn4/s400/SAM_4534.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">I'll post photos when I cook one of them! They are yummy. The gravy and soup just marinate with the chicken. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-size: large;">What's for supper??? Well we had <a href="http://kristiespantry.blogspot.com/2015/10/16-pounds-of-chicken32-meals.html">Chicken Broccoli Casserole</a>. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--BTkeNj--1A/Vh2vMmZk_wI/AAAAAAAAZR0/QzaFFoNYhkc/s1600/SAM_4464.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--BTkeNj--1A/Vh2vMmZk_wI/AAAAAAAAZR0/QzaFFoNYhkc/s400/SAM_4464.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This was one of the freezer meals that I recently made. You can see that <a href="http://kristiespantry.blogspot.com/2015/10/16-pounds-of-chicken32-meals.html">post here</a>. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OcPXy_jrviE/Vh2vWtRGUfI/AAAAAAAAZR8/WH5Cud90Z5E/s1600/SAM_4377.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OcPXy_jrviE/Vh2vWtRGUfI/AAAAAAAAZR8/WH5Cud90Z5E/s400/SAM_4377.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This was the chicken mixture that I was using when I made the freezer meals. Just shredded chicken breast frozen broccoli, cream of mushroom soup, and rice. Once I spread the mixture in the pan, I topped it with cheese. It is very yummy!!!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qj4R5WAw1iI/Vh2vcwcUqZI/AAAAAAAAZSE/IqGHjw3Kujs/s1600/SAM_4376.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-qj4R5WAw1iI/Vh2vcwcUqZI/AAAAAAAAZSE/IqGHjw3Kujs/s400/SAM_4376.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">The ease of these freezer meals they just go from freezer to oven since everything is already cook all you need to do is heat it up and melt the cheese! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vasyh17MDlA/Vh2vh3IYjdI/AAAAAAAAZSM/cygfXF_nBN4/s1600/SAM_4465.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vasyh17MDlA/Vh2vh3IYjdI/AAAAAAAAZSM/cygfXF_nBN4/s320/SAM_4465.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I simply served this with homemade buttermilk biscuits that I store in the freezer. All I had to do to the biscuits was pop them in the microwave for 1 minute. I'll do a post on the homemade biscuits soon.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--Rw_Z90yRxg/Vh2vwkf2syI/AAAAAAAAZSU/UzV61URXh9Y/s1600/SAM_4466.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--Rw_Z90yRxg/Vh2vwkf2syI/AAAAAAAAZSU/UzV61URXh9Y/s320/SAM_4466.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This was so creamy and tasty, Richard absolutely loved it! It's a good thing that he liked it because he is having the rest of it for leftovers. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">A product review that is a must in the kitchen! <a href="http://www.stretchtite.com/">Stretch-tite</a>! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-mfzpK-iAFqE/VhxPEoNBAtI/AAAAAAAAZP4/F2YGbi42_u4/s1600/SAM_4268.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-mfzpK-iAFqE/VhxPEoNBAtI/AAAAAAAAZP4/F2YGbi42_u4/s400/SAM_4268.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Let me tell you, I just love this stuff! <a href="http://www.stretchtite.com/">Stretch-tite</a> is a very sturdy plastic wrap that sticks really well and it is extremely affordable. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cTxKJ7G9afU/VhxPLFa2-EI/AAAAAAAAZQA/-Y_PVBcqoaM/s1600/SAM_4269.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-cTxKJ7G9afU/VhxPLFa2-EI/AAAAAAAAZQA/-Y_PVBcqoaM/s400/SAM_4269.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">You can even get this awesome dispenser/cutter that just works miracles. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QI-M0sp1mKg/VhxO4dTxqxI/AAAAAAAAZPo/0yNS9NM_6CY/s1600/SAM_4265.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QI-M0sp1mKg/VhxO4dTxqxI/AAAAAAAAZPo/0yNS9NM_6CY/s400/SAM_4265.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This little gadget is so handy and I use it all of the time when covering up leftover or whatever. I love having it right on my counter and not having to dig out a roll of plastic wrap out of the cabinet. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JxGGJ2jNVx8/VhxPPbRNblI/AAAAAAAAZQI/K4uqH__SA5E/s1600/SAM_4270.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-JxGGJ2jNVx8/VhxPPbRNblI/AAAAAAAAZQI/K4uqH__SA5E/s400/SAM_4270.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">It dispenses so easily... </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6GG2Kj-lCoE/VhxPWN-fZSI/AAAAAAAAZQQ/twvGWSYdzE0/s1600/SAM_4271.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-6GG2Kj-lCoE/VhxPWN-fZSI/AAAAAAAAZQQ/twvGWSYdzE0/s400/SAM_4271.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">You can even press with one finger and it cuts instantly. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KLwXUXZHLxA/VhxPbMUSjOI/AAAAAAAAZQY/FFbcLN5_INU/s1600/SAM_4272.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KLwXUXZHLxA/VhxPbMUSjOI/AAAAAAAAZQY/FFbcLN5_INU/s400/SAM_4272.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">It sticks great and this is the only plastic wrap that I will use after trying it. I love it! </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">They also have some excellent freezer wrap called, <a href="http://www.stretchtite.com/">freeze-tite</a>. This stuff is awesome as well and just like the plastic wrap, it is very affordable. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">If you get a chance check out their <a href="http://www.stretchtite.com/">website</a>. I find that I use this wrap more and more since I have that cool little dispenser. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Supper last night was an EASY meal with very little effort at all. Andrew wasn't going to be home for dinner and Hunter and I ate at mom's so that just left Richard when he got home from work. Here is what he had...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uHIsj7g4M2A/VhsHyFdRRjI/AAAAAAAAZOs/pwjXH-l9174/s1600/SAM_4459.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-uHIsj7g4M2A/VhsHyFdRRjI/AAAAAAAAZOs/pwjXH-l9174/s400/SAM_4459.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I started with this...</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">- 2 pack of thick cut boneless chops (marked down to $3.19)</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">- Package of Chili's Slow Cooker Sauce, Sweet& Spicy Molasses</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">- 3 small potatoes (not pictured) cut in chunks with the skins left on</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">- Maybe 1/3 cup of corn. You can use canned corn but I just used a handful of my dehydrated corn and rehydrated it.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">I dumped the meat and the sauce in the small crockpot and cooked on high for 4 hours. At the 3 hour point I added the cubed potatoes. After 4 hours it was ready to serve. I sprinkled a little corn over the top of it. 4 hours on HIGH or 6 hours on LOW.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fbvxZZBUKh4/VhsH8lpzWpI/AAAAAAAAZO0/roRMRPCUOYA/s1600/SAM_4458.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-fbvxZZBUKh4/VhsH8lpzWpI/AAAAAAAAZO0/roRMRPCUOYA/s400/SAM_4458.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Here's my big jar of dehydrated corn. I'll post more on that later. I love having this on hand and it will last for years being dehydrated.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RQ9vk3ob5y0/VhsH982FubI/AAAAAAAAZO8/eK45h7OfuEg/s1600/SAM_4463.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RQ9vk3ob5y0/VhsH982FubI/AAAAAAAAZO8/eK45h7OfuEg/s400/SAM_4463.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This is hubby's plate! Since everyone else had already ate, I just dumped it all in his plate. LOL! This is the first time that I had tried the sauce pack and he said it was a "winner". You can see the steam coming from his plate as I had just got it out of the crock pot.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Lwx3lh-NphM/VhsID53js-I/AAAAAAAAZPE/P9mfMhF0ABo/s1600/SAM_4460.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Lwx3lh-NphM/VhsID53js-I/AAAAAAAAZPE/P9mfMhF0ABo/s400/SAM_4460.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Extremely fast and easy. Probably 5 minutes prep time and 4 hours in the crockpot on HIGH or 6 hours on LOW.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-p4nw1oHMPWI/VhsIIoj4tZI/AAAAAAAAZPM/CN4ZVM7fbIQ/s1600/SAM_4461.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-p4nw1oHMPWI/VhsIIoj4tZI/AAAAAAAAZPM/CN4ZVM7fbIQ/s400/SAM_4461.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">A yummy meal with very little effort. I also think this would be great served over mashed potatoes.</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-size: large;">A couple of days ago I decided to make a big pot of chili. It is getting that time of year but actually we could eat it all year long. I raided the pantry and freezer...this is what I started with...</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2jBS44mKo78/Vho0WPy5KZI/AAAAAAAAZOA/1Y2XP4fRXVg/s1600/SAM_4394.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2jBS44mKo78/Vho0WPy5KZI/AAAAAAAAZOA/1Y2XP4fRXVg/s400/SAM_4394.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Chili Recipe</b></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">2 lbs of lean ground beef ( I used 96/4). ($7.18 marked down)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">2 large cans of tomato juice (.99 each from the pantry)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">2 cans of diced tomatoes (.49 each from the pantry)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">3 cans of dark chili beans (.49 each from the pantry)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">3 cans of light chili beans (.49 each from the pantry)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1 green bell pepper, chopped (from the freezer out of our garden)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1 jalapeno, chopped (from the freezer out of our garden)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">1 large onion (out of the garden)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">chili powder, to taste</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">minced garlic, to taste</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">red pepper seeds, to taste</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">Brown, drain and rinse ground beef. Drain the cans of beans and rinse. Add all of the ingredients and cook until done.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-z-vYQPm8qpY/Vho0ht9vHKI/AAAAAAAAZOQ/Kqgykf7MaX4/s1600/SAM_4402.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-z-vYQPm8qpY/Vho0ht9vHKI/AAAAAAAAZOQ/Kqgykf7MaX4/s400/SAM_4402.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">This made a big pot of chili so I decided to can part of it. I ended up canning 8 pints of chili. I could have done more but I didn't feel like digging out more jars. This also freezes really well if you don't want to can it.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7VbKI7DKMfA/Vho0hSYETMI/AAAAAAAAZOM/_HnrhQ_OiTI/s1600/SAM_4405.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7VbKI7DKMfA/Vho0hSYETMI/AAAAAAAAZOM/_HnrhQ_OiTI/s400/SAM_4405.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;">I had more left in the pot, which was hard to get a good photo because of the steam. With the remaining chili in the pot we had it for supper and also supper the next day. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-k4vqUJ4fK4g/Vho0oMToGII/AAAAAAAAZOY/J_NwjDE1Qd8/s1600/SAM_4404.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-k4vqUJ4fK4g/Vho0oMToGII/AAAAAAAAZOY/J_NwjDE1Qd8/s400/SAM_4404.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"> A good filling, hearty meal that "sticks to your ribs" :) I absolutely love chili!!!!! Occasionally I will even eat it for breakfast. :)</span></div>

<span style="font-size: large;">This post is all about "Stocking the Pantry". A little background first. Some of you know that I live in a rural area and for those of you that don't....I live in a very rural area, up on a big hill called, "Top of the World" That should give you an idea of the area. LOL! I live one mile back on this hill so sometimes during the winter I worry about having stocked groceries when I can't get out. I almost panic! </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">So I try to watch the sale ads and stock up when I can. My boys are big eaters so we spend more on groceries than anything else. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">A few weeks ago Food City had peanut butter on sale for .99 a jar. One week they had the store brand and the next week they had Jif for the same price of .99! I ended up with 21 jars! This may seem like a lot of peanut butter but we will go through it pretty quick. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xtAiYoRTpkI/VhXXySsQ0FI/AAAAAAAAZM8/nG6DOF-5xAQ/s1600/SAM_4333.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xtAiYoRTpkI/VhXXySsQ0FI/AAAAAAAAZM8/nG6DOF-5xAQ/s320/SAM_4333.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Andrew eats at least one peanut butter sandwich a day. I also make a lot of No Bake Cookies for Richard and Hunter. During the holidays I do a lot of candy so this will not last long, but at least I got it at a good price. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">During the same sale they had Smucker's Grape Jelly for the same price of .99 each. Can you tell that I am a little OCD cause I have all of my jar lids turned the same way. :)</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DLMah6QUJhU/VhXX35x8DjI/AAAAAAAAZNE/YL3iE6zSHfU/s1600/SAM_4332.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DLMah6QUJhU/VhXX35x8DjI/AAAAAAAAZNE/YL3iE6zSHfU/s400/SAM_4332.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I ended up with 16 jars of grape jelly. I do make my own homemade jelly that usually doesn't last long but this was too cheap to pass up. I checked the date and they are all good for a few more years so none of it will go to waste. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">This is how I stock my pantry! Watch sales and don't buy anything that we don't eat!!! I'll be posting recipes along as I use this peanut butter and jelly.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">How do you stock your pantry?</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">My son, Hunter has a basketball game Friday night. I was asked to make some No Bake Cookies to be sold at the game. He is in the 8th grade and the class is always doing fundraisers and such to raise money for their 8th grade trip at the end of the year to Tennessee. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">I made 2 batches of these cookies. Richard and the boys love these cookies and I make them all of the time for them. I am having a hard time keeping them out of these cookies.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">I know that these are very common cookies but they are sooooo good. I'm posting my recipe just in case someone wants it. :)</span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">Always trying to be frugal and simple, I decided to make some freezer meals a few days ago. Here's what I started with...4 cans of store bought spaghetti sauce (.99 each), box of spaghetti (.89), mozzarella cheese (marked down to $1.39), 1 lb of 85/15 ground beef (marked down to $3.47). I usually like to buy leaner meat but that is what they had and it was a good price.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FBCQQJUGPKY/VhXRRCeDw7I/AAAAAAAAZMM/22T8vyXdbyc/s1600/SAM_4354.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FBCQQJUGPKY/VhXRRCeDw7I/AAAAAAAAZMM/22T8vyXdbyc/s400/SAM_4354.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I also threw in a can of Mexican Style diced tomatoes. I stocked up on these the other day. Found them on sale for .49 a can so I bought 2 cases. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZYQ_UtugkaI/VhXReuD9AaI/AAAAAAAAZMc/cdqdQVH3Siw/s1600/SAM_4356.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZYQ_UtugkaI/VhXReuD9AaI/AAAAAAAAZMc/cdqdQVH3Siw/s400/SAM_4356.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">This came to a total of $9.31 and I ended up with 3 meals at <b>$3.10 EACH!!!! </b></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Very simple and fast to make. I cooked my ground beef, drained and rinsed it. Added the 4 cans of spaghetti sauce and diced tomatoes. </span><span style="font-size: large;">I added a little bit of this to the cooked spaghetti </span><span style="font-size: large;">just to keep from sticking together. I put the noodle/sauce mixture in the pans that were sprayed with nonstick spray. I then put a good thick layer of sauce over the spaghetti and covered with cheese. We like it saucy! <b> </b></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--YPsSzKkmxI/VhXRcUXUFuI/AAAAAAAAZMU/nbxT0lHWGM8/s1600/SAM_4358.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/--YPsSzKkmxI/VhXRcUXUFuI/AAAAAAAAZMU/nbxT0lHWGM8/s400/SAM_4358.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I cooked the spaghetti but not completely cooked. I also let it cool. The noodles will finish cooking when you reheat it in the baking process. If it is fully cooked before freezing it will end up being a little soggy when you reheat it.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Two of these went in the freezer for later and one went in the fridge for later that evening. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1r6a5IpVGmc/VhXRnYrG1wI/AAAAAAAAZMk/luxhmzjPZ_U/s1600/SAM_4360.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1r6a5IpVGmc/VhXRnYrG1wI/AAAAAAAAZMk/luxhmzjPZ_U/s400/SAM_4360.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Now all that I have to do is take one out of the freezer and into the oven. Just needs to be heated through and the cheese melted. :)</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">I had a little extra sauce leftover so I put it in a freezer bag for later use. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">This is all about catching sales and stretching the grocery budget to get as many meals as we can out of it. So please stay with me and follow my blog!!!!</span> <br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Last night I pulled some chicken breast from the freezer to let it thaw in the fridge. This was 16lbs of chicken breast with bone that I bought on sale for .99 per pound. BTW...I know this is a Christmas tray but I needed a large tray and that was the first thing that I found. :)</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xfk6JZlla_c/VhWX00CGjsI/AAAAAAAAZKY/0MohbUXHR2o/s1600/SAM_4364.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-xfk6JZlla_c/VhWX00CGjsI/AAAAAAAAZKY/0MohbUXHR2o/s400/SAM_4364.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">After cooking all of the chicken, I pulled the meat from the bone and shredded it. I wish that I had weighed it at this point but I forgot. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i-eNfuF-NHw/VhWX7E9YjGI/AAAAAAAAZKg/5S1QnzbICG0/s1600/SAM_4367.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i-eNfuF-NHw/VhWX7E9YjGI/AAAAAAAAZKg/5S1QnzbICG0/s400/SAM_4367.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">The first meals that I planned on preparing was some Chicken/Broccoli Casseroles. Casseroles are very versatile and I usually just use what I have on hand and don't really buy anything special. Here is what I used...2 cups white rice (cooked and drained), 2 cans of cream of celery soup, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, bag of frozen broccoli, cheese, and shredded chicken breast.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-114Hmk8SY6k/VhWYAnDlRBI/AAAAAAAAZKo/NilyD4OeXwE/s1600/SAM_4370.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-114Hmk8SY6k/VhWYAnDlRBI/AAAAAAAAZKo/NilyD4OeXwE/s400/SAM_4370.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I cooked and drained the rice, dumped in the bag of frozen broccoli, and I didn't measure the chicken, I just grabbed 2 big handfuls and dumped it all in a big bowl. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Y06PkMbdcE8/VhWYnBTSGQI/AAAAAAAAZLI/thq-yr4Kn2c/s1600/SAM_4373.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Y06PkMbdcE8/VhWYnBTSGQI/AAAAAAAAZLI/thq-yr4Kn2c/s400/SAM_4373.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I poured in the cans of soup and stirred it up really well. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-AYzd3kV_zKc/VhWYsP85TlI/AAAAAAAAZLQ/_STjmtEO1Kw/s1600/SAM_4376.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-AYzd3kV_zKc/VhWYsP85TlI/AAAAAAAAZLQ/_STjmtEO1Kw/s400/SAM_4376.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I had a few of these disposable pans so I sprayed them with canola oil. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vch-0aOq9Fs/VhWYG0KL2jI/AAAAAAAAZKw/cQHwQ6cDey4/s1600/SAM_4375.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vch-0aOq9Fs/VhWYG0KL2jI/AAAAAAAAZKw/cQHwQ6cDey4/s400/SAM_4375.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I thought that I would only have enough for 2 but when I saw that I was going to have extra mixture I grabbed a disposable loaf pan. I ended up with 3 casseroles and sprinkled them with cheese. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3TKKdJBsHJ0/VhWYOQ6n90I/AAAAAAAAZK4/1GfNeTO-liE/s1600/SAM_4377.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3TKKdJBsHJ0/VhWYOQ6n90I/AAAAAAAAZK4/1GfNeTO-liE/s400/SAM_4377.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">I covered them with some <a href="http://www.stretchtite.com/products/freeze-tite">Freeze-tit</a>e plastic freezer wrap and then a layer of foil. I wrote what it was and popped them in the freezer. Now when I get ready to serve these all that I have to do is put them in the oven at about 350 and let them bake until hot and the cheese is melted. Everything is already cooked so it just needs to be heated. So that was 3 of my 32 meals. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4VB2GrjlkE0/VhWYU9hfSeI/AAAAAAAAZLA/ab46EmCHCOw/s1600/SAM_4379.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4VB2GrjlkE0/VhWYU9hfSeI/AAAAAAAAZLA/ab46EmCHCOw/s400/SAM_4379.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Next up...canning some Spicy Chicken Veggie Soup. I don't have an exact recipe for this soup, I just basically dump in whatever that I have on hand. I got out some ingredients and snapped a photo but I changed some of it as I started dumping it in. Here's what I used...3 quarts of chicken broth (that I canned from my last session of cooking chicken), onions and jalapeno's that I had frozen, potatoes (cubed), 2 cans of kidney beans, 3 cans of diced tomatoes, 2 cans of corn, chili powder, crushed red pepper, minced garlic to taste, and lots of chicken. Again, I did not measure the chicken or anything else really. I just dump it in and do a few taste tests. Andrew usually eats these for his lunch or dinner and he likes it "chunky". I didn't end up using the peas or the tomato juice in the photo so they went back in the pantry. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bFjln4ik8J8/VhWYyEJqq6I/AAAAAAAAZLY/eNhYHJvHy5s/s1600/SAM_4372.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-bFjln4ik8J8/VhWYyEJqq6I/AAAAAAAAZLY/eNhYHJvHy5s/s400/SAM_4372.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">Then I loaded it all in the canner! I ended up with 15 pints of Spicy Chicken Veggie Soup! That takes my total up to 18 meals! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VS8mA_G7DDA/VhWZGsA0ABI/AAAAAAAAZLo/45TUVENiZuc/s1600/SAM_4384.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VS8mA_G7DDA/VhWZGsA0ABI/AAAAAAAAZLo/45TUVENiZuc/s320/SAM_4384.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">As I was finishing up the canning and trying to decide on what I was going to do with the rest of the shredded chicken, Andrew came in the kitchen and asked if I could make him some shredded BBQ Chicken to make some sandwiches for lunch. So I mixed up the remaining chicken with some BBQ sauce and I had these tiny little portion bags so I put 2oz. of chicken in each bag with a little bit of BBQ Sauce. This ended up making 14 little bags for 14 sandwiches!!! This takes my total to 32 meals. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">I know that most of the meals are not complete family meals but everyone here is on a different schedule so sometimes "individual" meals work well for us. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;">Oh and after I finished all of that up....I baked a cake! Nothing special just a Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and a few sprinkles. :) I bought the cake mix a few weeks ago for $1each. I saw in the sale paper today that they now have them on sale for .89 each. So the next time that I go shopping I will pick up several more for the pantry. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OH92IybqDuo/VhWY3-RI1II/AAAAAAAAZLg/oClX4ORMVnA/s1600/SAM_4382.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-OH92IybqDuo/VhWY3-RI1II/AAAAAAAAZLg/oClX4ORMVnA/s400/SAM_4382.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: large;">After all of that, I took a nap!!!! I was tired but well pleased with today's meals. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: large;">I have decided to start a new blog along with my quilt blog, <a href="http://quiltingcowgirl.blogspot.com/">quiltingcowgirl.blogspot.com</a>. This blog will be dedicated to my frugal living on the farm. It will consist of ways that we cut back and save on anything and everything that we possibly can including our groceries. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">I realized that we spend more money on groceries than anything else. We are a family of 4 and everyone seems to be on a different schedule. My husband, Richard works as a nurse. My oldest son, Andrew works with Autistic children. My youngest son, Hunter is in school...he is 13. I am a simple homemaker and I love it! </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">We grow a garden every year and I can or freeze all that our garden provides. I also love canning meat. My family are big meat eaters. Meat is very expensive so I always watch for sales and my hubby and boys are big hunters as well. I do use a few coupons and watch the sales and try to plan our meals ahead. Canning and freezing work well for our family. It also gives me more time to work on my quilts, not to mention I know exactly what goes in each meal. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">Please check back for lots of tips and recipes!!!! </span></div>
